Oaken Transformations Sculpture & Poetry Walk.

oaken_transformationsThe Oaken Transformations Sculpture & Poetry walk, in association with the Sauve Art Foundation, is an out-of-doors sculpture & poetry tour, free to the public, where you may enjoy art by local and nationally renown artists. Part nature walk, part meditative footpath, part art installation, with sculpture pieces by Brian Ferriby, Mike Sohikian, Sophie Marie, John Sauve, Ken Thompson, Steve Cannaert, Robert Sestock, Kevin Bowen, Louis Marinaro, Kate Silvio and Nicholas Sikma,. There will also be poetry posted along the walk from the likes of Keith Taylor, Joseph Lease, Robert Fanning, Michelle Chan Brown, Joshua Edwards, Megan Levad, and others. This is a year-long show; the walk will be open year-round, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.



Sauve, who served as curator for the exhibit, said he's been working with Bonine for a year on the project.  "It's very nice for him to open his well-maintained grounds and make it for the community," Sauve said.
