"Visions from the North," an art exhibit featuring sculptures by two artists, William Allen and Dewey Blocksma, from June 1, 2007 to July 1, 2007. Both artists have work on permanent display at the Michigan Legacy Art Park. The Sauvé Art Foundation is the sponsor of this Michigan Legacy Art Park traveling exhibit. The Michigan Legacy Art Park is a museum without walls that tells the stories of Michigan through art presented in a natural environment. The curator of the "Visions of the North" exhibit, John Sauve is taking the Art Park on tour through a mini-exhibit of works by Art Park artists. The Art Park displays the work of renowned Michigan artists alongside the spectacular scenery of Benzie County in northern Michigan, explained the Park Director, Renee Hintz. The traveling exhibit, featuring Art Park artists, offers a rare opportunity to see the work of some of the same artists in your own backyard.
