I am a multimedia artist who explores the notion of subculture and risk taking. The landscape of physical vulnerability is often the subject of my work. Although seemingly aggressive on the surface, the endgame that is ultimately expressed is threaded with post modern metaphors of bravado in a hyper-mediated world. Subjects include the US Army at Fort Hood, Haitian Voodoo,gangsters from Brazil and Brooklyn, mosh pits, motorcycle stunters and cowboys. Photography, video, wall paintings, collage and performance are mediums which are organized with in a neo-Constructivist fashion.
